Sk. M. Tofayel Hasan

Mr. SK. M. Tofayel Hasan was born on February 1, 1979 in a respectable Muslim family in Mallikpara, Meherepur Sadar Upazila, Meherepur district. He passed the S.S.C. examination in 1993 from the Science Department and passed with first class. Then he passed the H.S.C. examination in 1995 from the Science Department from Kushtia Government University College and passed with first class. Later, he secured 1st place in L.L.B. (Hons.) First Class and 1st place in L.M.M. First Class from the Law Department of Islamic University. He was awarded the Chancellor Gold Medal.

He passed the 24th B.C.S. examination in 2005 and joined Natore as an Assistant Judge in 2006. Then in 2008, he worked as a Metropolitan Magistrate in the Chief Metropolitan Court, Dhaka. Then in 2010, he worked with reputation and efficiency in the Manikganj Court as a Senior Assistant Judge. After that, he was promoted and worked as a Joint Metropolitan Sessions Judge in the Metropolitan Sessions Court, Chittagong Division from 2011 to 2016. After that, he served as an Additional District Judge in Dhaka from 2016 to 2018 and in Jhalakathi from 2018 to 2021. He was promoted to the highest post in the Judicial Department as a District and Sessions Judge in 2021 and worked as a judge in the Cyber Tribunal of Chittagong Division. Then he served as Additional Registrar of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh from 2022 to 2024 and Registrar (Trial) from 2024 to 2025 and Administrative Tribunal-01, Dhaka until October 2025. He joined Manikganj as District and Sessions Judge on 03/11/2025.
